geek / beat dropper / hubby / dad / brit - karma.fm

Karma started off as a weekly deep house party that ran in downtown San Jose at the Blue Monkey. After four years of good times, the doors were closed on the monkey and after shuffling around a few places we turned to cyberspace to broadcast to whole globe. That was back in 2008, and now karma.fm boasts over a dozen shows from some great DJs , enjoyed by thousands of listeners every month from countries all over the world.

The station streams house music, electro, downtempo and other forms of electronica 24/7/365 (ok, 366 in leap years), using Ogg Vorbis. I've adapted an existing player to work with the karma.fm stream and crafted the station's content management and scheduling software by hand which allows the station's show producers from around the world to upload their content and have it processed ready for broadcast automatically.

With an iphone app in the design stages, new show material being aired every single day, point your browser to karma.fm and give your ears a treat. You can catch my show "Sorted" every Friday, something different each week.
